The Last of Us TV Series New Poster Revealed Along With a January 15 Release Date

One of the most critically acclaimed titles is getting adapted for TV and the players couldn’t be more excited for it. We have already received a premiere date for the series, which has been scheduled for January 15, 2023.

The TV series will follow the fantastic storyline that was presented by the game, also adding their own elements to it. Game of Thrones actors, Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, will be stepping into the shoes of Joel and Ellie, respectively. Check out the new The Last of Us TV series poster below:

The Last of Us TV series is developed by Craig Mazin, the Emmy-Award winning creator of Chernobyl and Neil Druckmann, the creator of the critically acclaimed video game.

The post-apocalyptic TV series will follow the journey of Joel escorting Ellie across the Zombie filled United States. The first season of the show will only consist of 9 episodes when it releases on January 15.

Other cast members include Ghost Rider actor, Gabriel Luna, as Joel’s younger brother Tommy. Broadway performer, Merle Dandridge as resistance leader Marlene and Fringe actress, Anna Torv as Joel’s partner in crime, Tess.

The Last of Us is one of the most popular titles in all of gaming, with a fantastic storyline, many memorable and emotional moments, strong performances from the cast and spectacular gameplay mechanics. The players have also received a remake for Last of Us Part 1, that utilises all the next-gen features that have been introduced by the PlayStation 5.

Historically, video game adaptations to the big screen haven’t always been the best. But, having such big names like Pedro Pascal and Craig Mazin working on the series, it will be exciting to see what they cook up for the fans.
