The Crew Motorfest Gameplay Footage Leaks Ahead of Ubisoft Forward Live 2023 Reveal

June is touted as the month of reveals in the gaming industry, as several studios and publishers have showcases featuring new games in the pipeline.

This includes Ubisoft Forward Live, where games like Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will get revealed. Along with that, the French gaming giants will also showcase the next Crew game.

Titled The Crew Motorfest, the Ubisoft Ivory Tower-developed title takes players to the Hawaiian island of O’ahu. The open world racing game was announced at the start of the year, with more details including gameplay taking centre stage at Ubisoft Forward Live 2023.

However, Ubisoft’s reveal plans were thwarted when gameplay footage of The Crew Motorfest leaked online. According to VGC, 25 minutes of gameplay footage showed up on YouTube, before it was quickly taken down by Ubisoft. However, that video has now spread like wildfire, and can be watched on the internet.

Similarly, the publication reported that two hours worth of footage of the game running on PS5 had also been taken down. It seems like the footage stems from the game’s recent closed testing, which concludes on June 9.

Despite the leaks, fans are quite intrigued by the third title in the series, which serves as the follow up to 2018’s The Crew 2. The franchise has been one of the more popular entries in the arcade racing genre, and it will be interesting to see what the threequel has in store for fans of the series.
