telegram: Telegram rolls out new feature-rich update: Here’s what is new – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Telegram, the popular instant messaging app has rolled out a new update with a slew of features. Released for both Android and iOS operating systems, the update brings new video stickers, improved navigation between chats, enhanced message reactions and also a button to review unseen reactions.
Video stickers
With this latest update, Telegram has added support for stickers to get converted from regular videos, so that anyone can easily create detailed animated stickers with the help of any video editing program. You can publish your packs with the @Stickers bot – or add some of the new sets made by others.
Improved reactions
The company introduced emoji reactions in the previous update. The feature enables users to react to a particular message in a chat with an emoji. Telegram has now improved the feature with more compact animations and a heart button for unseen reactions. Users can press and hold on a reaction in the menu for a larger effect. Along with this, the company has also added five new reactions for users.
Navigating recent chats
The update has also made it easier for users to navigate to recent chats. The company has created a shortcut to navigate between unread channels. Users have to press and hold the ‘Back’ button. Opening chats from forwarded messages, links, usernames, profiles, etc. adds them to the list.
Apart from the above mentioned features, the latest update also promises to improve the call quality, added support for translation to Instant View pages (and bios on iOS), added the option to send silent messages from the sharing menu – and dozens of other improvements.
