Tecno Camon 17, Camon 17 Pro with 64MP main rear camera, 5000mAh battery launched: Price, specs and more – Times of India

Smartphone brand Tecno has launched a new smartphone series — Camon 17 — in India today. The series consists of two smartphones — Tecno Camon 17 Pro and Tecno Camon 17. The two handsets offer a couple of common specs such as display, battery and rear camera setup.
Tecno Camon 17 price and availability
The company has launched Camon 17 in a single storage option. It offers 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It has been priced at Rs 12,999.
The Camon 17 Pro smartphone has also been launched in a single storage model of 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage option that costs 16,999.
The handset will go on sale starting July 26 via Amazon.
Tecno Camon 17 specs
Available in Frost Silver, Spruce Green, and Magnet Black colour options, the Tecno Camon 17 sports a 6.8-inch FHD+ of 1080x2460p resolution with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio.
The smartphone comes powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and offers up to 256GB internal storage support.
Tecno Camon 17 offers a 64MP main camera (f/1.79 aperture). This is paired with three 2MP sensors. On the front, buyers get a 16MP sensor.
Backed by a 5000mAh battery, the Tecno Camon 17 comes with 18W fast charging support. Running on Android 11 with HiOS v7.6 custom OS, the Tecno Camon 17 offers dual SIM support.
Tecno Camon 17 Pro specs
The Pro variant of the Tecno Camon 17 comes in a single Arctic Down colour option. In terms of specs, the Tecno Camon 17 Pro sports the same battery, display and microSD card support.
The smartphone comes powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC and offers 33W fast charging support.
For imaging duties, it has a 64MP main camera (f/1.79 aperture), an 8MP wide angle sensor and two 2MP sensors. On the front, there is a 48MP sensor.
