Dr Reddy’s Laboratories: The drug maker said it has launched generic Albendazole tablets, used in the treatment of a variety of parasitic worm infestations, in the US market. The Hyderabad-based drug major said it has launched the product, a generic version of GlaxoSmithKline’s Albenza tablets (200 mg) after receiving approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA).

Titan Company: The Tata group firm reported an increase of 65.6 per cent in its consolidated net profit to Rs 568 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, helped by a strong growth in jewellery segment. It had posted a net profit of Rs 343 crore in the January-March 2020 quarter,

said in a regulatory filing.

NBCC: State-owned NBCC has sweetened its bid and will offer up to 1,903 acre land parcels to lenders as against the earlier offer of 1,526 acres to acquire Jaypee Infratech through the insolvency process.

Ambuja Cements: The cement maker, part of Swiss firm LafargeHolcim, reported a 65.4 per cent jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,228.24 crore for the first quarter ended March 2021, helped by volume growth.

Services: The broker said it has posted its highest-ever quarterly net profit of Rs 448 crore for the March 2021 quarter, driven by a Rs 264 crore investment gains. The company had posted a loss of Rs 253 crore in the year-ago quarter.

AU Small Finance Bank (SFB): The SFB reported an over 38 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 168.98 crore for the last quarter of fiscal ended March 2021. The lender had posted a net profit of Rs 122.32 crore in the same quarter of 2019-20.

Escorts: Farm equipment major Escorts said it will temporarily shut down its manufacturing operations on a selective basis between May 1 and May 3 amid the deteriorating Covid-19 situation in the country.

Indiamart Intermesh: B2B e-commerce firm Indiamart Intermesh posted a 26 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 56 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2021. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 44 crore in the same period a year ago.

Equitas Small Finance Bank: The SFB reported a 162 per cent jump in its profit after tax to Rs 113 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2021. The small finance lender had posted a profit after tax of Rs 43 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Zensar Technologies: IT company Zensar Technologies reported a 27.6 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 90.5 crore for the March 2021 quarter. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 70.9 crore in the January-March 2020 period, Zensar said in a regulatory filing.

Mahindra Logistics: The company reported a 20 per cent growth in net profit to Rs 12 crore in the March 2021 quarter, mainly driven by e-commerce, consumer, automotive and freight forwarding businesses. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 10 crore in Q4 FY20, according to a release.

L&T Finance Holdings: The company reported nearly 31 per cent dip in its net profit at Rs 266 crore for the quarter ended March 2021. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 385 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2019-20.

Exide Industries: Battery maker Exide Industries on Thursday reported a 36 per cent increase in consolidated profit after tax at Rs 320.17 crore in the fourth quarter ended March riding on robust sales growth.

CPCL: Chennai Petroleum Corporation, a group company of Indian Oil, has reported standalone net profits at Rs 332.95 crore for the quarter ending March 31, 2021.
