Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Accessibility And Difficulty Options Revealed

EA has just revealed the accessibility and difficulty options for its upcoming game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. These include the ability to adjust visuals, four different difficulty levels, and more.

Some accessibility options will include control customization, allowing you to remap the controls as needed, as well as an option for subtitles and closed captions. With this feature, you can decide how much detail you want in both subtitles and closed captions throughout the game and if you want to see them during normal conversations and battles, with directional indicators also togglable.

Similar to the original 2019 Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Survivor will have four difficulty options you can pick from. Below you’ll find a breakdown of each difficulty setting:

For those who wish to enjoy Cal and crew’s adventure with little resistance from foes. Parry times are generous, and damage dealt by enemies is minimal.

More of a challenge than Story Mode but gentler than Jedi Knight. Parry times are still somewhat generous though enemies deal a fair amount more damage than they do in Story Mode.

A challenging adventure. Players will need to hone their reflexes to overcome enemies.

Offers even more of a challenge than Jedi Knight, with enemy aggressiveness dialed up to keep you on your toes.

The most difficult option. Parry windows are small, and enemies are merciless. This difficulty setting will test your mettle.

In addition to the difficulty levels, you’ll also be able to use gameplay modifiers that can be used at any point in the game. These features include a camera option for auto-targeting, button mash options, hold/pull toggles, and navigation assist, including audio pings.

Another new feature being introduced is Slow Mode. When this is enabled, time is slowed down, potentially allowing you to clear through parts of the game more easily. Lastly, there’ll also be a shortcut control. When this is turned on, you can bind specific buttons to perform actions such as slow mode, photo mode, audio pings, and more.
