Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Exclusive Clip Features So, So Many Spideys

IGN is excited to debut a brand new scene from the upcoming animated film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2018 Oscar winner Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

According to the official synopsis, this film sees Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore) “catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters the Spider Society, a team of Spider-People charged with protecting the Multiverse’s very existence.

But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must set out on his own to save those he loves most. Anyone can wear the mask – it’s how you wear it that makes you a hero.”

In IGN’s exclusive clip – which can be viewed in either the player above or via the embed below – Miles is pursued by dozens of other Spideys, including Spider-Man 2211 and Web-Man, with the scene also featuring an epic riff on the iconic Spider-Man Pointing Meme.

Not all of the Spideys seen in this clip are even human, with both the dinosaur incarnation Spider-Rex and Spider-Cat popping up at different points.

Be sure to check out this rundown (or scroll through the slideshow below) for all of the Spideys we’ve spotted (so far) in the film’s marketing materials.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse hits theaters on June 2nd. The third installment, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, opens on March 29, 2024.
