Sony India Releases Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Trailer in 10 Languages, Shubhman Gill Voices Pavitr

Sony India has just released the Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse trailer in ten different Indian languages. This is part of its localisation efforts to bring more audience from different regions of India for its upcoming major Spider-Man movie. The trailer has been released in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, and Bengali. Check out all the trailers here.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is releasing in India ahead of global release

There is another major news for the fans of Spider-Man who are eagerly waiting for Across the Spider-Verse movie. The movie will be released on June 1, 2023, in India. That means Indian audiences will get to see it a day before it is released in the US and globally.

Final trailer

As for the trailer, it is the final one featuring Pavitr Prabhakar, India’s very own Spider-Man. He is voiced by Indian cricketer Shubman Gill. The cricketer has voiced the character for the Hindi and Punjabi dubs of the movie.

Shony Panjikaran, general manager and head of Sony Pictures Releasing International (SPRI) India said, “The interest and excitement Indian fans have shown towards Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is overwhelming. To fulfil this unprecedented demand in our market, we’ve decided to release the film a day prior, and again to reiterate in 10 languages.”

Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse is the sequel to Into the Spiderverse. The movie will continue the story of Miles Morales, who reunites with Gwen Stacy as they tumble their way into the Multiverse and encounter a team of Spider-People.
