On November 11 this year, 10 years would have passed since Bethesda launched The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the game that proved to be a game-changer in the open-world role-playing game genre. It is going to be a decade since Skyrim’s launch and yet the allure continues, with people still playing it. After the vanilla version, Bethesda had brought Skyrim Special Edition, with improved visuals. You would think that there would be no more game versions of Skyrim as it has already been expanded a lot courtesy of the modding community. But the Anniversary Edition has been announced and here is what it will come with.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition will release on November 11, 2021, for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PS5. The Anniversary Edition includes Skyrim Special Edition that has the full game with the three expansion packs: Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn.
It will also have 74 creations from the Creation Club content, of which 48 are currently available and 26 that are yet to be released. These come with over 500 individual elements such as quests, items, dungeons, dragons, bosses, armour, spells, houses, etc.
Also, “current and future owners of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition on any platform including Xbox Game Pass Subscribers will receive access to three free pieces of Creation Club content: Fishing, Survival Mode and even new quests with Saints and Seducers. Additionally, Skyrim Special Edition owners on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, as well as Xbox Game Pass subscribers on Xbox Series X|S will receive a free upgrade to an enhanced version on November 11 for their respective PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S systems!”, says a blog post by Bethesda.
