Shaheen Bhatt congratulates ‘mom and dad’ Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor with unseen pic after their pregnancy announcement

Actor Alia Bhatt announced her pregnancy on Monday. Her elder sister Shaheen Bhatt congratulated Alia and Ranbir Kapoor on Instagram by sharing a picture of the couple. Posting a picture of Alia and Ranbir, Shaheen simply wrote, “Mom and dad.” Shaheen and Alia’s mother Soni Razdan dropped a heart emoji in the comments section of the post. Ranbir’s siter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni wrote, “Oh hello maaaaaaasiiii.” Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda commented, “Congratulations.” Many fans also dropped congratulatory messages in the comments box.

Shaheen’s post comes a few hours after Alia announced her pregnancy on Instagram. Alia shared picture of herself and Ranbir from their sonography session and wrote, “Our baby ….. coming soon.” In the photo, a happy Alia is seen looking at the sonography monitor.

Alia and Ranbir had been dating for five years before they tied the knot on April 14 this year. They are currently awaiting the release of their film Brahmastra. The Ayan Mukerji directorial will release on September 9, 2022. Alia also has her Heart Of Stone in the pipeline. The film is Alia’s first international project. The Tom Harper film will be released on Netflix. Apart from this, Alia is also filming Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with actor Ranveer Singh, which releases in 2023.

Ranbir will be seen next in Shamshera. The film will also star Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor. Produced by Aditya Chopra, Shamshera is set to release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on July 22. Recently, Ranbir and actor Shraddha Kapoor were shooting in Spain for a Luv Ranjan film.
