Saurabh Agarwal, whose show Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha went off air recently, talks about it & more

How will you sum up the experience of working in Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha?

For me, work is work and being an actor, I like performance-oriented roles. My experience was overall very good. I really liked the team and all the actors.

What are your memories and learnings from the show?

To be very frank, I don’t keep memories, but, yes, the learnings were good. All the actors had a different working style, someone used to learn the script at home, while someone did it on the sets. The best experience was all the actors were really good, very helpful and supportive.

The show has now gone off air. What is your reaction?

Obviously it feels sad, but whatever has to happen will happen. It was sad for all of us, and obviously, didn’t feel good.

What kind of role are you looking out for now?

Honestly, the roles I have done till now are not the ones I really desired to do. Now that I am open, even if you give me the role of father, I will be willing to do that.

Is there any dream role for you?

For me a dream role is something which is fun to do, something where I can take out the actor in me; doesn’t matter what or how the role is. But it should be well-written and have an importance in the script.

You haven’t explored reality shows; what is the reason?

I never really got a chance. Neither I was approached nor did I reach out to anyone!

Any plans to go on a vacation, since you’ve been working non-stop?

This was all a vacation only; we made a Goa trip, we went to Silvassa, we were working, yet it was a vacation.

What is your viewpoint on OTT?

OTT is a boon. It’s a great platform to showcase your talent.
