Samsung Galaxy Unpacked may get Awesome for the first time: Here’s the ‘awesome’ that the company may launch – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Samsung is reportedly gearing up to hold its second Galaxy Unpacked event of the year 2022. The company launched its flagship Galaxy S22 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event held on February 9. Now it appears that the company is planning to host another Galaxy Unpacked event later this month. According to an tipster TechInsider (@TechInsiderBlog), Samsung has scheduled an A-Event for March 2022. Wonder what’s the ‘Awesome’ in this A-Event? It’s the A-series. Samsung’s A-series tagline is ‘awesome’. Samsung on its part has so far not revealed anything officially about the event.
The company is likely to announce Galaxy A-series smartphones at the event. The tipster claims that the company is set to launch four new Galaxy A-series smartphones at the upcoming launch. The names include Samsung Galaxy A73 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A23 5G smartphones. What makes the tip more concrete is that Samsung launched its A52 and A72 smartphones on March 17 in 2021 at its Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung launched Galaxy A52s in September 2021.
Samsung Galaxy A73 5G, Galaxy A53 5G likely specifications
As per leaks, both Samsung Galaxy A73 and Galaxy A53 will be 5G smartphones and run on Android 12 operating system topped with Samsung’s own layer of One UI 4. Samsung Galaxy A73 5G and Galaxy A53 5G are said to sport a 6.7-inch and 6.52-inch AMOLED displays respectively. The display of both the smartphones are expected to offer 120Hz refresh rate.
Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset. On the other hand, Galaxy A53 5G is likely to be powered by an Exynos 1200 processor. For imaging duties, the upcoming Samsung smartphones are said to sport a quad-rear camera setup.
Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is expected to feature a 108MP primary camera, 12MP secondary camera, 8MP and 2MP cameras. Whereas, Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is rumoured to feature a 64MP main camera, 12MP secondary shooter and two 5MP cameras. Both the Galaxy A-series smartphones are said to be backed by 5000 mAh batteries with 25W fast charging support.
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A23 5G expected specifications
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A23 5G smartphones are said to come with Android 11 operating system out-of-the-box. The Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A23 5G are likely to sport a 6.-inch AMOLED and 6.6-inch IPS displays respectively. The Galaxy A33 5G is likely to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset.
On the other hand, Galaxy A23 5G is rumoured to pack MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. The duo is tipped to feature quad-rear camera setup and 5000 mAh batteries with 15W fast charging support.
