Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ camera details leaked online – Times of India

Samsung Galaxy S22 series is the next expected smartphone lineup from the South Korean tech giant. Naturally, the rumour mill is now focusing on what the devices in this lineup may feature as these are the ‘traditional’ designed flagship devices, as Samsung has done away with the Note series and focused on cooler designs of Flip and Fold.
A new report by Galaxy Club suggests that Samsung may launch at least two handsets — Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ — in the S22 lineup and they are expected to house a new 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom capabilities, which is different from a high resolution sensor, 64MP, with not so great optical zoom, 1.1x optical zoom, that we have seen in the Galaxy S21 and S21+.
The report also claims that this is similar to what the Galaxy S21 Ultra offers and recent rumours claimed that its successor, Galaxy S22 Ultra will also offer.
Therefore, it is possible that all the Galaxy S22 smartphones will come with more similar aspects than it did before.
Samsung Galaxy S22: What we know so far
The Galaxy S22 smartphone series is likely to launch next year in February. The series is expected to comprise the S22, the S22+ and the S22 Ultra.
A recent report by Android Authority claimed that instead of going with vapour chamber cooling, Samsung may use multi-layered thermal graphite pads for heat dissipation and the reason for this was said to be cost-cutting.
Prior to that, popular tipster Ice Universe had claimed that the Galaxy S22 may feature a 6-inch display, the Galaxy S22+ may feature a 6.55-inch screen and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone may offer a 6.81-inch display.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ are said to pack 3800mAh and 4000mAh batteries respectively. Whereas, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is said to house a 5000mAh battery.
