Samsung Galaxy M34 teased: Will it offer something more than a Galaxy S23-like design? | Digit

Samsung Galaxy M34 is set to launch via Amazon India, presumably below ₹20,000. In an official clip, Samsung has teased the phone’s going to launch soon with a triple rear camera setup arranged like a Galaxy S23. Well, most of the Samsung releases this year share this design language of three camera rings on the back. One such phone is the Galaxy A34 5G, whose specs are also expected to be borrowed by the Galaxy M34.

Will the Samsung Galaxy M34 design be still dated somehow?

Being a lower-mid-range smartphone, skewing towards the affordable segment, the Galaxy M34 could have a waterdrop notch on the front.

The Waterdrop notch or as Samsung likes to call it, the Infinity U cutout will be an eyesore for some in 2023. It will be too long in the tooth like they say.

The rumour that it will have some semblance to the Galaxy A34 makes us fear this could happen.

Meanwhile, if this rumour turns out to be true, the Galaxy M34 is expected to bring the following specs and features.

Samsung Galaxy M34 specifications (Expected)

Besides the looks, the rear cameras could come housing a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide and a 5MP macro module. Could this be the new camera phone of choice under 20k?

We’ll have to wait and see.

Flip to the front, and there, you could expect a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the phone could be featuring a Dimensity 1080 SoC and a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging support.
