redmi note: Redmi Note 11T Pro series with 67W fast charging, 108MP camera may launch soon in India – Times of India

Xiaomi may expand its Redmi lineup in India with the launch of a new smartphone. The Chinese tech giant is rumoured to launch the Redmi Note 11T Pro series in the country this month, however, the official date has not been confirmed by Xiaomi. The company has shared a post on social media to announce the official launch date of the series in China. The poster shared for Redmi Note 11T Pro’s China launch doesn’t reveal the design or any key specifications. Moreover, the company has also not confirmed whether the device will be released in markets outside China. The vanilla Redmi Note 11T 5G was launched in India in November 2021 for Rs 16,999 and now the Pro variants of the device are likely to arrive in India.
The Redmi Note 11T Pro is also expected to be an upgraded and improved version of the earlier released Redmi Note 11T. The Redmi Note 11T features a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate whereas the Pro variant might support a higher 120Hz AMOLED display. The vanilla Redmi Note 11T came powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 procesor coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The Pro variant is likely to retain these configurations.
The Redmi Note 11T sports a 50MP dual rear camera setup while the Pro variant might house a triple camera setup and may include the same 16MP front camera from its predecessor.
Redmi Note 11T Pro that will be unveiled in China may come with a different name in India. Moreover, speculations suggest that the Redmi Note 11T Pro could come to India with 120W charging support for a sub- Rs 20,000 pricing. The Redmi Note 11T packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, while the Redmi Note 11T Pro may support 67W or 120W fast charging.
The company’s current cheapest phone that supports 120W fast charging is the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge. More details about the upcoming smartphone will be available as the company reveals the official specs sheet.
