Pokemon: Upcoming Reboot Series Reveals New Characters Including Villains; All You Need to Know

As the fans know, the 25-year-old iconic anime series that brought the world of Pocket Monsters and the dynamic duo, Ash and Pikachu, has finally come to an end. Fortunately for the fans, a new reboot series for the franchise has been announced. The upcoming series will see two new protagonists, Liko and Roy that will embark on an adventure with Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.

This Pokémon reboot series is scheduled to go on air from April 14, 2023 in Japan. As the release date for the series comes closer, fans are being provided more details about the show. Recently, we learned about two new characters that will be a part of the show, Captain Pikachu and Friede. Other characters that have already been announced include Orio, Murdock, Molly and Randoh.

Now, the series has revealed a new string of characters through a video on its YouTube channel. This short video introduces us to Amejio, the leader of the Explorers group, who’s partner Pokémon is Ceruledge. Next is Jil, who is partnered with Rhydon and is a member of the Explorers. Then comes Konia partnered with a Golduck and also a member of Explorers. Lastly, a popular streamer that wears a Kurumin costume was shown, but their real identity is still a mystery.
