Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series marks the final adventure for series protagonist Ash Ketchum and his trusted buddy, Pikachu. The series will see the show give a much-needed farewell to the iconic character, who finally became a world champion last year.
The series first debuted in October, and while the show is on its final few episodes in Japan, English dub viewers are still confused on what and when to expect. However, all the confusion will soon be gone, as The Pokémon Company has announced the release of new episodes for the show next month.
Following the release of the first batch of Season 1 of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series in English on Netflix, the company behind the iconic anime will release more episodes on February 24. So far, the streaming platform only has 12 of the 51 planned episodes for the show.
The 25th season of the anime will most likely receive another batch of episodes, most likely 12, when they arrive at Netflix next month. This is just speculation, as The Pokémon Company hasn’t revealed much about it. However, the company has confirmed that the next batches featuring his send-offs, where he meets his old pals, will release at a later date.
The upcoming season will see Ash battle it out against Drasna of the Kalos Elite Four in the World Coronation Series. Plus, the character will also be meeting the likes of Clemont and Bonnie. On the other hand, Goh will find himself in the final trial missions for Project Mew. Finally, Ash Ketchum’s former arch-rival Paul makes his way, with the Masters Eight Tournament beginning soon.
