Pokemon Leaks Suggest the Next Game Might Be a Sequel to Black and White

A new leak about Pokemon games has suggested that the next game might serve as a sequel to, or at least has connections to Pokemon Black and White. For those unfamiliar, Pokemon Black and White was a classic Nintendo DS game that came out more than a decade ago in 2010. The leak comes from Riddler Khu and Centro Leaks, both known for accurate leaks when it comes to Pokemon.

Pokemon Black and White sequel

It started with Riddler Khu revealing information on the upcoming DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet which is called ‘The Indigo Disk’. The leaker said that the DLC would have a character that will serve as a “big spoiler for the next game.”

Pokemon news account SoulSilverArt built on that initial leak (as spotted on Reddit) and suggested that the next game might be set in Unova. The account also clarified that it will be a new game altogether rather than a Gen 5 remake of Pokemon Black and White. They also added that Khu’s hint points towards the legendary dragon trio from Black and White (Reshiram, Kyurem, and Zekrom). Centro Leaks also weighed in saying that fans should expect a “Legends scale game” but added that all of this is speculation for now.

Pokemon Black and Pokemon White were two games made for the Nintendo DS console. They marked the arrival of Gen 5 Pokemon in games. Currently, Gen 5 Pokemon are missing from Nintendo Switch’s Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
