pixel: Google Pixel Watch battery and connectivity details leaked – Times of India

Google Pixel Watch has made it to the new several times in the last few weeks. The first smartwatch with Pixel moniker is one of the most talked about products from Google. Although the tech giant has not officially revealed any details about the wearable, we have seen numerous leaks and images suggesting what users can expect from the upcoming product. A latest report by 9to5Google has revealed that the Google Pixel Watch will be powered by a 300mAh battery.
The report also compared Google Pixel Watch with other smartwatches with similar specifications and battery capacity such as the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, the Fossil Gen 6, and Skagen’s Faster Gen 6. The report suggests that the Pixel Watch could last anywhere from 20 hours to 48 hours. Apart from this, the report also claims that the smartwatch will feature cellular connectivity.
In a recent report, AndroidCentral shared real images of the alleged Google Pixel Watch. The publication claims that the smartwatch was found in a US restaurant by one of their sources. As per the source, the device could be a testing mode for the internal Pixel team.
When it comes to the images, the Google Pixel Watch looks similar to the leaked rendered images. The images reveal that the smartwatch will follow a minimalistic design language with almost no bezels. The images also reveal that the Pixel Watch will have a couple of buttons near the crown that look similar to the one seen on Apple Watch models.
The band with the smartwatch looks like a proprietary Google band and looks quite similar to the Apple Watch sports band. As per the report, the smartwatch was not bundled with a charger. The report further revealed that when the source tried to power up the smartwatch, nothing happened past the boot logo. This may be due to the absence of any operating system.
According to tipster Evan Blass, the launch of Pixel Rohan is imminent. Although the tipster has not revealed any specific timeline for the launch, another tipster Jon Prosser last month claimed that the company may launch the device at Google I/O 2022. The annual conference is scheduled to be held on May 11-12.
