OnePlus is on a launch spree this year, and we have already seen a couple of OnePlus and Nord series devices launching this year. But there is no stopping; the company is launching its next flagship – the OnePlus 10T – on August 3. Now, rumours are rife that the company is also working on another high-end smartphone.
Notable tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that OnePlus is working on a separate flagship for its home market, i.e., China. The smartphone, allegedly dubbed the OnePlus Ace Pro, could be a member of the Ace series, introduced earlier this year in China.
OnePlus Ace Pro for China and OnePlus 10T for the rest of world
The tipster also sheds some light on the expected specifications of the upcoming OnePlus Ace Pro. First, the smartphone would be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It would come with 16GB of RAM and 150W fast charging support. The specifications point toward the OnePlus Ace Pro being a rebranded OnePlus 10T.
It would not be new for OnePlus since the Ace series already exists in China, and one of the Ace members – the OnePlus Ace – has already made its way to India – the OnePlus 10R. So, it would not be much of a shock if the company launches the OnePlus 10T as OnePlus Ace Pro in China.
OnePlus 10T launching on August 3
The OnePlus 10T is set to make its global debut on August 3. The smartphone is said to be a successor to the OnePlus 10 Pro. It is confirmed to come with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Rumours suggest that 150W fast charging support is also one of its features. And it might come with a 50MP triple camera setup.
