OnePlus 10R has officially launched in India as the successor to the OnePlus 9R (review) alongside the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite and the OnePlus Nord Buds. The OnePlus 10R is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max and is the first phone to launch with this chip in the country. Fun fact: The OnePlus 10R is actually a fork of the OnePlus Ace which is exclusively available in China.
OnePlus 10R is available in two versions: Endurance Edition with 150W SuperVOOC fast charging and other with 80W SuperVOOC charging. The OnePlus 10R is an affordable option in the OnePlus flagship number series and joins the OnePlus 10 Pro (review) which was launched on March 31 in India with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. OnePlus 10R pricing and availability
The OnePlus 10R is priced starting at Rs 38,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and Rs 42,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant with 80W fast charging. The Endurance Edition with 12GB/256GB storage and 150W fast charging is priced at Rs 43,999.
OnePlus 10R goes on sale from May 4 in India across oneplus.in, amazon.in and offline OnePlus exclusive stores and other partner stores.
OnePlus 10R specifications
The OnePlus 10R has launched in two colours, Sierra Black and Forest Green. It measures 8.2mm in thickness and weighs 186 grams with Gorilla Glass protection on the rear panel. It features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ (2412×1080 pixels) resolution AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. It is further topped with a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 for added protection.
Powering the OnePlus 10R is the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max chipset with an octa-core CPU and is paired with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage options to choose from. It runs on OxygenOS 12.1 which is based on Android 12.
As for the cameras, the OnePlus 10R has a triple camera setup on the back headlined by a 50MP camera with OIS that uses Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with 120-degree FOV and a 2MP macro camera. There is a 16MP selfie camera on the front housed within the centre punch-hole notch cutout. The rear cameras can record in 4K UHD at 30FPS and 1080p at upto 60FPS.
The OnePlus 10R also has stereo speakers, support for WiFi 6 and an in-display fingerprint reader.
The Endurance Edition (12GB/256GB, Sierra Black) has a 4,500mAh battery and supports 150W SuperVOOC fast charging. OnePlus claims that it takes just 17 minutes to fully charge the phone from 0-100%.
The normal edition OnePlus 10R has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging which OnePlus claims can be fully charged in 32 minutes.
