The makers of KGF 2 on Thursday unveiled a special poster of Sanjay Dutt’s character from the movie on the occasion of the star’s birthday. Sharing the poster, Sanjay Dutt said that the long wait for the movie will be worth it.
In KGF 2, Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing a character called Adheera.
Unveiling the poster, Hombale Films wrote: “”War is meant for progress, even the vultures will agree with me” – #Adheera, Happy Birthday @duttsanjay. (sic).”
Sanjay Dutt took to Twitter to share the poster. He further wrote that the long wait for the movie will be totally worth it.
“Thank you so much everyone for all the warm birthday wishes. Working on KGF Chapter 2 has been amazing. I know you all have been waiting for the film’s release for a long time and I assure you that it’ll be worth the wait (sic).”
KGF 2 marks the southern debut of Sanjay Dutt, who plays the antagonist. The film also stars Raveena Tandon in a crucial role.
Last year, the makers revealed the first glimpse of Sanjay Dutt’s character from the film. The Khalnayak star will be seen playing the primary antagonist which was only teased in the first part. He will be seen playing a character called Adheera.

Talking about the second part of the movie, Yash told Hindustan Times: “When we made KGF: Chapter 1, we had our own inhibitions and restricted ourselves in some way. But with this kind of success on our side, we are going all out to make the second part. We now know people are keenly looking forward to the second part and we can deliver it without any reservations. We’ve reserved the best for chapter 2.”
KGF: Chapter 2 will also be dubbed and released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.
