In today’s rapidly evolving digital era, where organizations across industries generate massive volumes of data, there is a greater need for people who are data literate and have the analytical skills to extract meaningful insights from the data.
Identifying the need of the hour, National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai, the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi and I-DAPT HUB FOUNDATION IIT (BHU), Varanasi, have launched the Global Online Certification Course on ‘Data-Driven Supply Chain Transformation’ in collaboration with Prof. David Simchi-Levi from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA, under the PM Gati Shakti initiative.
Prof. David Simchi-Levi is a renowned Professor and Thought Leader in Analytics and Supply Chain Management. He is the Director of MIT Data Science Lab. He also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the leading international journal ‘Management Science’ and is the recipient of the prestigious INFORMS Impact Prize 2020 for his work on Supply Chain Resilience.
It is a 30-hour weekend-only course, from 16th July to 21st August 2022. The course is designed for industry professionals, academicians, and students, and will help the participants learn basic analytical methods and develop critical thinking skills. With business analytics being an integral part of modern management, this course will strive to provide the foundation to understand and apply analytical methods to drive value for businesses.
Since 2021, NITIE has successfully observed more than 12k+ participations worldwide from eminent organizations like P&G, HUL, ITC, Deloitte, Micron, Sun Pharma, ABB, Mondelez, MG Motors, Cipla, John Deere, SAIL, HPCL and from top educational institutions like IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, NMIMS Mumbai, IIT Bombay, NIT Calicut, University of Warwick, University of London, & many more.
