New State Mobile Introduces the MCX and BR: Extreme Mode for Erangel in April Update

Krafton’s popular Battle Royale title New State Mobile recently added some exciting new content as part of April’s Update 0.9.30.

The new update arrives on the heels of New State Mobile collaborating with Among Us for a new Impostor mini game-mode that players can experience until May 19.

The biggest highlight of the April update revolves around the MCX, which is the newest AR to join the Battle Royale title. It uses 5.56mm rounds, and it has a high fire rate and DPS. Players can further improve the weapon by using attachments like scope, magazine, muzzle, grip, and stock slots.

Other than the new weapon, the game’s popular BR: Extreme Mode now makes its way to Erangel as well. The quick 15 minute game-mode features 48 players in a smaller version of Erangel, with the playzone shrinking in 5 phases.

The mode will follow much of the rules players have seen in Troi’s version of the BR: Extreme Mode. However, there are some slight changes that the developers have had to make in order to fine tune the mode for Erangel.

Along with the new weapon in the MCX, players will also have new weapon customization options for it in the Enhanced Suppressor. Plus, the DSR-1 and the Crossbow can now be improved with a Tank Flash Hider and Magnetic Bomb, respectively.

Other than that, there’s new weapon attachments, which include Deca Vision (10x) scope and Grenade Launcher, along with a brand new throwable in the Poison Gas Bomb. Players can also get their hands on new items like the T-RS and the Self-Defibrillator. Finally, players can even earn more items and cosmetics with Survivor Pass Vol. 6, which features Marion from the Hunters faction as the main character.
