NBA approve accreditation of all UG Engineering Program of SLIET Longowal – Times of India

PATIALA: National Board of Accreditation (NBA) had approved the Accreditation Status of all the Seven ‘4-Year’ Bachelor of Engineering (BE) Programs of Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology Longowal.

The spokesperson of the institute said that a team of the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), consisting of 11 members visited SLIET Longowal, from 9-11 April this year, in Hybrid Mode, for the accreditation of all seven BE Programs. “During the visit, the experts critically analysed the academic, administrative records and physical facilities available at the institute and the departmental level. Team also interacted with faculty, staff, students and their parents, alumni, and employers to collect the feedback. This NBA approval is a certification that institute imparts Outcome-Based Education (OBE) in terms of knowledge, skills, attitudes and ethical behaviour, to its students”, said spokesperson adding that Accreditation is a process of quality assurance and improvement, whereby a programme continues to meet the prescribed Norms and Standards and it is a kind of recognition which indicates that a programme or Institution fulfills certain standards.
