Moto g31 with 5000mAh battery launched in India: Price, specs and more – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Moto g31 is now official. Lenovo-owned Motorola has expanded its smartphone lineup with the launch of its latest mid-range smartphone — Moto g31 in the country. The smartphone comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and is powered by a MediaTek processor. The smartphone runs Android 11 and sports a 50MP rear camera.
Price and availability
The company has launched two variants of Moto g31. The 4GB+64GB variant is priced at Rs 12,999, while the 6GB+128GB version will cost Rs 14,999. Customers can purchase the smartphone in Meteorite Gray and Sterling Blue colour options. The smartphone will be available online on Flipkart starting December 6.
Moto g31 specifications
Moto g31 comes with a full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage variants — 64GB and 128GB. Users can further expand the storage up to 1TB by adding a microSD card.
Moto g31 comes with dual SIM support and runs Android 11 operating system. The smartphone sports a triple rear camera which comprises a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 13MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
The smartphone comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and has a water-repellent coating. Moto g31 is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 20W charging support.
Recently, it was reported that Motorola is planning to launch its first smartphone with a 200MP camera. The Lenovo-owned smartphone maker is tipped to make a smartphone using the Samsung sensor. The leak also suggests that a smartphone with a 200MP camera may launch in the first half of 2022. Apart from Motorola, another Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is also planning to launch a 200MP camera smartphone next year. On the other hand, we will get to see a Samsung smartphone with a 200MP camera in 2023.
