Minecraft is a game where resources are key to the success of the players. These resources can be used for various purposes such as enchantment, crafting equipment, and more. Enchantment is a great way to level up the equipment a player is using. Smite is an Enchantment that will level up the players’ equipment enormously.
What is Smite in Minecraft?
As mentioned before, Smite is an enchantment that can be used to level up the player’s equipment. This will provide them with additional stat boosts and other bonuses as well. The Smite Enchantment also has levels to it, from Smite I being the lowest and Smite V being the highest. Smite Enchantment boosts up the attack power of the player’s weapon.
But there is a catch to this stat boost. Smite’s attack boost on the weapon only works when attacking the undead enemies in the game, such as Zombies, Skeletons or the Drowned enemies. The Minecraft Smite Enchantment attack boost will not work against the normal enemies.
With the Smite V enchantment, the players will be able to take down enemies within 2 hits. They can also take down the undead enemies with just one critical hit too. To perform a critical hit the players need to attack the enemy while falling. An advisable strategy would be to carry 2 swords, one with Smite 5 Enchantment and the other with Sharpness 5 enchantment, to take down all types of enemies with ease.
How to use Smite Enchantment in Minecraft?
To Enchant a weapon with Smite, the players will first have to craft an Enchantment Table, for that the players will have to gather certain items such as; 4 Obsidian Blocks, 2 Diamonds and a Book. Once the Enchantment Table has been crafted, the players can use it to Enchant any equipment by right-clicking on the table.
After that, the player will reach the Enchanting Screen, here they will first need to choose the weapon they wish to Enchant with Smite and then power the process with a Lapis Lazuli. Once all that is done, the player just needs to use the Smite Enchantment book they have to apply the special abilities to their weapon.
