Metal Gear Solid Voice Actor Teases Snake Eater Remake

For the past few months, rumours have swirled around about Konami potentially developing a Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake.

Many of these rumours have been shot down, while others continue to circulate on social media. However, the latest development comes from a person, who has worked on the series long before.

The person in question is voice actor Donna Burke, who provided vocals for the songs on the soundtracks of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. The actress recently shared a photo of herself holding a folder with the design of a cat wearing an eyepatch, which clearly points to Solid Snake.

And if that wasn’t enough, the folder also has the words Snake Eater inscribed, and she posted the photo with the caption “Recording in Progress!” This seems to suggest that Burke might be recording new tracks for the MGS 3 Remake.

Burke has since refuted those rumours, and she has stated that her work doesn’t involve anything related to the Metal Gear Solid franchise.

However, it’s hard for fans to stop believing, especially with Konami considering remakes for many of its classic franchises. In the end, it seems like fans will have to wait a bit more to see if the rumours were true after all.
