Fashion designer Masaba Gupta recently shot for the new season of the reality TV show Supermodel of the Year. Today, Neena Gupta’s daughter took to Instagram to post several pictures revealing her breathtaking look from the first day of the shoot. Masaba shimmered and shined in a sultry ensemble looking nothing short of a supermodel herself.
Masaba shared the pictures on the gram after several fans had enquired why she wasn’t shooting for Supermodel of the Year. The show also stars Malaika Arora, Milind Soman and Anusha Dandekar as the judges.
Masaba wore a backless halter-neck gown from the house of Rani Zakhem Couture. She teamed the floor-sweeping dress with jewellery by Misho Designs and pumps from Charles and Keith.

Masaba shot for the episode of Supermodel of the Year in a gown that hugged her svelte frame in such a way that it looked like she was dripping with liquid gold.
The dress had a plunging halter neckline that reached her torso. A gathered and fitted bodice, attached with the neckline, flaunted her curves. As for the backless detail and the floor-sweeping train, they took the exquisite vibe of the dress to the next level.
Masaba accessorised her dripping gold gown with several statement-making gold rings and ear studs. She tied her voluminous curly locks in a sleek braided hairdo.

The designer’s bold make-up for the shoot complemented her OTT ensemble. She chose exaggerated winged liner with kohl-lined eyes, nude lipstick, sharp contour, dewy skin, blushed cheeks, beaming highlighter and well-defined eyebrows.
Masaba’s followers loved the gold look, styled by Bollywood’s favourite celebrity stylist Mohit Rai. Many praised her in the comments. The official handle of MTV wrote, “The ‘S’ in your name stands for Supermodel! Yaaaas Queen.” See some comments:
Meanwhile, on the work front, Masaba has started shooting for the second season of her Netflix series Masaba Masaba.
The scripted series is based on moments from her life, follows her background and the diverse worlds across fashion and family. The first season of the show had debuted in August 2020 on Netflix. It also stars her mother, Neena Gupta.
