If you didn’t know already, Peter Parker and Miles Morales are back in town, as the sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man arrives this year.
Following the success of the original back in 2018, Parker is back with his partner-in-fighting-crime Morales, as they face new foes in the Insomniac Games-developed title.
After much speculation, Insomniac Games had confirmed recently that the sequel will release this year. However, the developers haven’t really showcased much about the title so far.

That changed quite recently, when a live-action teaser for the upcoming title aired on the ESPN network in Australia. The teaser in question features a spoof of a news report, which showcases the crime-fighting antics of both Miles Morales and Peter Parker, with the duo hanging criminals with their webbing on the streets of New York.
Along with a look at Parker and Morales’ ability, the teaser also gave fans a hint about the game’s release window. The news report featured headlines of the game dropping in Spring 2023. This would suggest that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 would drop in the next few months. However, fans will have to remember that the teaser aired in Australia, where Spring takes place between September and November.
This teaser marks the start of the game’s marketing spree, with both Sony PlayStation and Insomniac Games set to reveal more details in the coming months leading up to its release later this year.
