Looking for a way to get your Star Wars fix after completing Jedi: Survivor? Consider taking a look at this massive Chewbacca Lego set, which features a staggering 2,319 pieces and is now available to preorder from the Lego Store.
The Lego Star Wars Chewbacca kit launches on September 1 and costs $200. You’re getting a lot for your money, however, as the completed figure stands over 18 inches tall and comes with a built-in display stand. There’s also a plaque with details about the galaxy’s favorite Wookiee along with a Chewbacca Lego minifigure. Plus, 2,319-piece Lego sets take a pretty long time to build.
As you’d expect, this complex kit is designed for Lego veterans (the age recommendation is 18 and older) and is meant to be displayed once construction is complete. And since it’s being released to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, it’s bound to be popular–consider locking in your preorder to guarantee you can get your hands on the kit at launch.
If you’re not interested in Chewbacca, a few other Lego Star Wars sets are also up for preorder. This includes the Ahsoka Ghost and Phantom II for $160, the Ahsoka New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter for $110, and the Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle for $80. These are fairly big builds but are more suited for play.
All three Ahsoka Lego sets are slated to launch on September 1, too, with preorders available now at Amazon.
