Letv (formerly known as LeEco) has been missing from the scene for a long time until last year it unveiled new TWS earphones under the Letv brand. Now, the long-missing Le.com (or LeEco) has launched a new smartphone – the Letv Y1 Pro – in China. The Y1 Pro is the first smartphone from the company after Le Pro 3 AI Edition, which was launched in 2017. It is not a flagship or mid-range smartphone but it is an entry-segment smartphone that might help Letv cement itself in the smartphone market one more time.
The new smartphone from the Letv looks very reminiscent of the Apple iPhone 13 sharing the same diagonally placed dual-camera setup and notch on the front, and even the side rails look similar to that of the iPhone 13. The Letv Y1 Pro comes with a starting price tag of CNY 499 (Rs 5,820) in China.
The Y1 Pro features a 6.54-inch HD+ LCD panel. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the UniSoc T310 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone has a dedicated microSD card slot for expanding the internal storage. Furthermore, the Letv Y1 Pro boasts a 4000mAh battery with USB-C charging.
Coming to the cameras, the Y1 Pro come equipped with a dual-camera setup on the back. The smartphone’s dual rear camera setup consists of an 8MP primary camera and a secondary camera dubbed AI lens. Further, it has a 5MP camera on the front housed inside the notch for selfies and face unlock.
Let Y1 Pro comes in three colours – Star White, Midnight Black and Star Blue. The smartphone is available to purchase in three storage configurations – 4GB+64GB for CNY 499 (Rs 5,820), 4GB+128GB priced at CNY 699 (Rs 8,154) and 4GB+256GB retailing for CNY 899 (Rs 10,487). The Y1 Pro can be purchased in China but there is no word on if and when the smartphone will be made available outside of China.
