Jujutsu Kaisen Creator Acknowledges Funny Manga Mistake in Latest Chapter

Jujutsu Kaisen fans were ecstatic to see the return of the most powerful sorcerer, Gojo Satoru, in the latest chapter of the manga. However, some fans noticed a minor mistake in the story, and the mangaka, Gege Akutami, quickly apologised for the error in the author’s comments section of Weekly Shonen Jump in Chapter 221.

Akutami pointed out the error they made in an amusing way, writing in the author’s comments section that Itadori’s right ear returning was a mistake, but clarified that Gojo’s return was not – they indeed planned for the special grade jujutsu sorcerer’s return.

The readers, of course, found the way Akutami acknowledged this funny, and some joked that they thought Yuji was using the reverse curse technique.

Jujutusu Kaisen is set to go on a three-week hiatus after the release of Chapter 221. While all manga that are currently serialising in Weekly Shonen Jump will be on a break from April 29 to May 5 due to Japan’s Golden Week Holidays, Jujutsu Kaisen will return on May 14, with Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #24.
