jio: Reliance Jio launches Calendar Month Validity plan: How it is different from Airtel, Vodafone’s monthly plans and Jio’s own – Times of India

Reliance Jio has expanded its prepaid plan portfolio with the launch of a new prepaid plan that offers a complete month of validity. Called ‘Calendar Month Validity Prepaid Plan’, the plan will offer users validity for an entire month (30/31 days), unlike the 28 days validity that the current monthly plans from Airtel, Vodafone and Reliance Jio itself offer.
The Calendar Month Validity Prepaid Plan is priced at Rs 259. The benefits include unlimited calling, data and more. Here’s what’s new and what’s not with the Rs 259 ‘Calendar Month Validity Prepaid Plan’.
This is the only unlimited prepaid plan from any telecom service provider to offer a complete month of validity. The prepaid plan offers a validity period of exactly 1 calendar month. The plan recurs on the same date every month. For instance, if you’ve recharged your Jio prepaid number on March 28, the next recharge will be done on the same day of the following month (April 28, May 28, June 28 and so on).
The Rs 259 prepaid plan offers unlimited calling benefits along with 1.5GB per day of data, 100 SMS per day and a subscription to Jio apps and services. The plan is available for both existing and new customers and via both online as well as offline channels.
Also, users can choose to recharge the plan multiple times in advance. The plan goes into a queue and automatically becomes active on the expiry of the current plan.
1.5GB/day data plans from Reliance Jio
There are six other plans from Reliance Jio that offer 1.5GB data per day, these include:
Rs 119 prepaid plan: 14 days validity
Rs 199 prepaid plan: 13 days validity
Rs 239 prepaid plan: 28 days validity
Rs 479 prepaid plan: 56 days validity
Rs 666 prepaid plan: 84 days validity
Rs 2,545 prepaid plan: 336 days validity
