Jenson Ackles Will Be Mad if Pedro Pascal Gets the Role for Batman: The Brave and the Bold and More

The new DC Universe will feature a Batman: The Brave and the Bold movie, alongside Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson’s Batman, which exists in the Elseworlds Universe. Naturally, that got many fans thinking who will play the next Batman with Jenson Ackles from the Supernatural and The Boys series being one of the prime contenders for the role. Recently, Jenson Ackles was also asked about playing Batman and he had an interesting reply.

Jenson Ackles was recently spotted speaking to fans about playing Batman on a video uploaded by the Home of DCU Twitter Account. In the video, one of the fans asked Ackles if he could shed light on the rumours of him being one of the top 3 picks to play Batman in the upcoming DC movie. Ackles replied by stating that he doesn’t know about it, and if he did, he wouldn’t tell them.

Ackles added by stating that he could play the role and he would definitely want to do it, when suddenly someone from the crowd shouted, “Watch Pedro Pascal get it”. He hilariously replied to this interruption by revealing that he will be mad if Pedro Pascal gets it. Ackles also stated that there’s a “strike going on in the entertainment industry” and until that is resolved, “nobody is having conversations about anything”. Watch the full video below.

Jenson Ackles does look like a good pick to be the next Batman as he does boast a superhero structure and also has the experience with his recent work on Amazon Prime series, The Boys. Additionally, he also voices the Caped Crusader in the new animated DC universe.

George Clooney’s Canon Status Confirmed by James Gunn

If you who haven’t watched The Flash, then you might want to skip this part, as it contains major spoilers for the end of the recent DC film. At the end, when Barry goes and corrects his mistake, he is greeted by a new Batman in his present timeline, who is neither Ben Affleck nor Michael Keaton, as it’s none other than George Clooney. Fans were definitely surprised about this cameo and also confused about the state of Batman in the DCEU.

Fortunately for fans, this confusion has been cleared out by popular DC fan and news account, Home of DCU. Home of DCU’s recent Twitter post states that James Gunn has confirmed that there will be a new Batman in his universe, and it won’t be George Clooney playing the role.

Danny DeVito’s Frightening Experience Playing Penguin in Batman Returns

On the topic of Batman, Danny DeVito talked about his scary experience working on Batman Beyond in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. DeVito recalls the scene in the movie where a monkey was supposed to hand him a note by Batman. He states that the monkey had no issues in the first rehearsal of the scene, but things changed when he put a “kind of black and green mouthwash in his mouth”.

This change made the monkey react erratically, and as DeVito explains it best, “The monkey comes down, takes one look at me, and leaps at my balls, swear to God it was horrifying”. Fortunately, this monkey attack didn’t bring any injuries to the actor due to the cosmetic suit he was wearing. The monkey did manage to take a “huge chunk” out of the suit, but no harm came to the actor’s body.
