Update 1/28 2:05pm PT: And it’s official. The Fast Saga Twitter account has confirmed Jason Momoa will be in the upcoming Fast 10.

Fast 10 is set to be the conclusion of the Fast Saga and will be a two-part film, with part one set to be released in 2023.
Original Story: The Fast and Furious franchise has a history of adding extremely muscular men to its cast of characters, and it seems Fast 10 will be no different. After Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and John Cena appeared in previous movies, it could be Aquaman star Jason Momoa’s turn to face off against Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto.
THR reports Momoa is in final talks to join the next installment of the Fast and Furious franchise. We don’t know much about the next movie’s plot, but apparently Momoa could play one of the movie’s villains. It’s possible his character could work alongside Charlize Theron’s Cipher, who escaped at the end of last year’s F9.
Many members of the family are expected to return in Fast & Furious 10, including Michelle Rodriguez’s Letty, Tyrese Gibson’s Roman, Ludacris’ Tej and Sung Kang’s Han. There’s some unfinished business between Han and Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw, as F9’s credits scene showed the two interacting for the first time since Shaw’s attempted murder of Han.
One character that won’t return for Fast 10 at this point is Johnson’s Luke Hobbs. The ongoing beef between Johnson and Diesel seems to have reached its conclusion, at least for now. At the very end of last year, Johnson said there is “no chance” he would rejoin the franchise, especially after Diesel’s social media post did not go over well with the Rock. Diesel made a post telling the Rock that he “must show up” for Fast & Furious 10 and “rise to the occasion and fulfill your destiny.” While that ship may have sailed, fans can expect to see Johnson again in Hobbs & Shaw 2.
Fast 10 is set to come out on May 19, 2023. It will serve as the first half of a two-part finale for the Fast and Furious franchise. Longtime franchise director Justin Lin is returning, having previously worked on Fast 3 through 6 and F9.
