Indian Open-World Gangster Game Mayanagari Gets a Cinematic Trailer, Pre-Registration Open Now

Hypernova Interactive has released a cinematic trailer for Mayanagari, the first fully open-world gangster game that promises to feature an all-Indian, fully-explorable world. The developers have also opened pre-registration on Google Play for the anticipated title.

Mayanagari would feature an expansive and realistic virtual world to explore, which is based on the real-life locations of Mumbai and Goa. With more than five different sections, Hypernova Interactive promises a very immersive experience in the City of Dreams.

In the game, the player takes on the role of a rising gangster to “build your own criminal saga.” The open-world offers numerous activities to experience and crimes to commit, which will allow players to make the city their playground, so to speak.

Mayanagari will feature cinematic cutscenes which are made using motion-capture technology to deliver a story with more than 10 missions to complete. The developer says the cutscenes are in “Bollywood-style” which could mean that the devs have focused on the cinematic aspect as well.

There’s also a fully-fledged property management system, which would allow players to buy their own houses and run their own businesses as they become a gangster in the city. The game offers players the chance to build, deal, and fight their way through becoming Mayanagari’s next big don.

There are also going to be more than 15 iconic Indian vehicles to drive in the game, and players can choose their car or bike of choice and cruise through the city.
