Huawei set to launch Huawei Watch Fit in India, this is how much it may cost – Times of India

Huawei is set to expand its fitness accessories portfolio. The company is set to bting its Huawei Watch Fit smartwatch to India. The smartwatch will be priced under Rs 10,000. Huawei Watch Fit has 1.64 AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass, 98 workout modes, heart rate tracking, SpO2 support and 10 days battery life.
Huawei Watch Fit is currently available in China, Germany, Netherlands, Italy and United Kingdom (UK). It comes in two models — Regular and Elgant. The regular model has four colours — Mint Green, Sakura Pink, Cantaloupe Orange and Graphite Black. The Elegant edition coolours include Midnight Black and Frosty White.
This means that the smartwatch will be the company’s entry in the affordable smartwatch segment. Smartwatches are part of wearables segment. Huawei’s wearables portfolio in India includes smartwatches and fitness bands. The smartwatch range in India includes Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro, Huawei Watch GT 2, Huawei Watch GT 2 GT 2e and Huawei Watch GT. In fitness bands, buyers get Huawei Band 6 and Huawei Band 4.
As per International Data Corp (IDC), India’s wearables market grew 118.2% year-over-year (YoY) in 2Q21 (April-June), shipping 11.2 million units. According to IDC India Monthly Wearable Device Tracker, strong shipments from homegrown brands in earwear and watches fueled this growth. Watches continued to be the fastest-growing category accounting for 81.2% share in the wristwear category that includes watches and wristbands, up from 35.0% a year ago.
Over the quarters, the watch form factor seems to be appealing to the consumers, and Indian brands have been quicker to leverage this trend and align their device portfolio.
