Heroes in white!

The National Doctor’s Day is celebrated on July 1 each year and more than ever before, the sacrifices of doctors have come to light during the ongoing pandemic. Celebs come on board to give their message of gratitude and heartfelt applause for doctors.

Without a break

After getting cured of the deadly virus, I realised doctors are the real heroes. For 55 days, I was in the hospital and have closely watched how the medical staff was working without a break. They deserve all the applause. I express my gratitude towards all the doctors for always being there, for serving us with happiness and treating our problems.

Truly thankful

Doctors are nothing but saviours. We wouldn’t be surviving now if it wasn’t for their help and support. We should thank them for the amount of sacrifices they have made to make our lives better. The pandemic has made us all realise the importance of doctors. Without their constant support we wouldn’t be able to cope up with the situation we are facing and should be grateful for their efforts to save our lives.

Constant support

People have now started acknowledging the sacrifices doctors make just to save others’ lives, whereas it should have come a long time ago. We should happily take this opportunity to thank the doctors for their constant support. We should show some empathy towards them during these hard times.

Show respect

Even when the doctors are now being recognised globally, there are still some disturbing reports related to doctors we often get to hear — the common one being physical assault on them by those who have lost their loved ones. It’s high time one should stop doing that. National Doctor’s Day is the best way to spread awareness about the same.

Important role

I believe this year’s theme is apt as the family doctors can be a bridge between the community and higher healthcare system. They can create awareness about testing, symptoms and vaccination. So, it is important that we celebrate and create awareness .
