GTA Online ‘Extreme Exploit’ on PC is Leading To Accounts Being Banned; All You Need to Know

Grand Theft Auto Online is one of the longest running online gaming titles to date. Rockstar has been constantly providing content updates to keep the players immersed and the game’s community keeps going stronger each day. At the moment, all the fans are waiting for an announcement for the next big instalment in the series, Grand Theft Auto VI. However, until then they will have to make do with GTA Online.

PC players of the nearly decade old title have been facing some severe issues at the moment. As reported by industry insider, Tez2 (via Exputer), it seems that cheaters have found some “extreme exploits”, through which they are able to remotely alter a user’s stats or even permanently corrupt their data, which leads to banning or deletion of their account.

Twitter user, Fluufball has provided players with a video on how it looks when they fall victim to the exploit. He stated in the caption that due to the exploit on PC, players will find themselves stuck in the clouds indefinitely when trying to login to GTA Online. He has also asked players to avoid GTA Online on PC at the moment. Check out the video below:

For players that are worried about suffering from the exploit, they can use the precaution posted by Speyedr to save themselves. He has asked players to download Guardian Firewall 1.54 fastload fix and then choose “locked session” while playing the game. Doing this will prevent cheaters from infiltrating the user’s account.
