GTA Online Already Has a Parody of Elon Musk Acquiring Twitter

Have you read through the trending news stories of Los Santos recently? Well, the world of GTA Online isn’t shy away from following the trends of the real world as it reacts to Elon Musk and his acquisition of Twitter smartly!

When it was launched back in 2013, the story of GTA Online was a true and honest reflection of our own world with so many references to the well-known incidents of celebrities. This is something that we have also seen in previous Grand Theft Auto entries as well.

However, what makes the latest entry special is the power of GTA Online, which always keeps Los Santos toe to toe with events of the real world.

Most recently, Elon Musk has officially acquired Twitter for $44 billion, and a few days later, now we are hearing from Los Santos that one of the world’s biggest social media platforms, Bleeter, has been acquired by an American billionaire!

GTA Online News Feed Shares a Parody of Elon Musk Buying Twitter

Recently, a Reddit user, MalikKillzIt, shared a screenshot from the news feed of the internet in GTA Online, where there is a piece of news pointing at the acquisition of Bleeter by Avon Hertz, an American billionaire and geek, for $44 billion.

Well, these descriptions obviously ring a bell! Avon Hertz is just an in-game representation of Elon Musk, and Bleeter is the same Twitter in Los Santos. So, it seems like Rockstar is really into making parodies of the real world events in Los Santos.

However, it’s yet to be seen how far these parodies could go. Will we be able to see a playable mission or quest based on real-world events in GTA Online in the near future? Well, I hope we get something similar!
