The 2023 Grammys included its first ever award category for video game music. The category titled “Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media” featured the following nominees:

In the hotly contested category, it was Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn Of Ragnarok, as Stephanie Economou wins her first Grammy in her first ever experience with video game music.

Plus, the category also brought in a ton of eyeballs from the meme world, as award presenter and comedian, Randy Rainbow absolutely murdered the pronunciation of the celebrated Ubisoft RPG title.
