Google Pixel Watch 2 may arrive in different sizes: 3 things we know about it | Digit

There’s a new smartwatch coming to the market every now and then. Apple and Samsung have their annual smartwatch launch lined up for the year. But now as per leaks and tips, Pixel will also have an annual smartwatch launch. It is expected that Google will launch the Pixel Watch 2 along with Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro in the last quarter of 2023.

According to the launch pattern of past Pixel devices, Google tends to launch their flagship of the year around October, so it can be expected that the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro along with Pixel Watch 2 will be launched in October 2023.

More details of the Google Pixel Watch 2 aren’t revealed through the leak yet, but some information has been gathered. Let’s have a look at some of the revealed specifications of the upcoming Google smartwatch.

Google Pixel Watch 2 specifications revealed so far

If early leaks are anything to go by, then the Pixel Watch 2 might not have a complete new design change, it might be just a tad bit different (if at all). It is expected to have a larger display and smaller bezels. Also if the design remains the same, it means that users of the predecessor can keep using the previous watch’s band.

As far as the Pixel Watch 2’s internals go, the Snapdragon W5+ with a 4nm manufacturing process can be used. This would allow the Pixel Watch’s successor to last longer after charging up. It is also expected that the Watch might come in different sizes, but nothing has been compared as of yet.

Google I/O takes place in a day, where the much hyped Google Pixel 7a and Google Pixel Fold are going to be launched. But it’s also expected that Google will come up with a teaser of other devices, one of which will be the Pixel Watch 2.

Except for these nothing much has been revealed. Also, whatever reveals have happened may not actually end up in the final version of the Pixel Watch 2 due to be released later in the year.
