Once a user is able to spot the moon, Google drops a string of lights and chandeliers to mark the Ramdan celebrations.
This was announced by Google via a Twitter post.
“Add that extra twinkle to your Ramadan plans at home…Search for ‘ramadan’ on your Google app…Click on the moon for a space-cial surprise”, says Google in its Twitter post.

Ramdan is considered as the most sacred and pious month for fasting and praying for all the Muslims around the world. It is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar. The month of Ramadan begins with the first sighting of the new moon and ends with the Eid al-Fitr celebrations.
