God of War has made its way to its PC recently, and the community is in awe of the game already.
Released back in 2018, God of War managed to surpass the expectations even for a PlayStation exclusive, considering the accolades it got. The game revolves around the story of Kratos and his son Atreus, as they embark on a journey to fulfill Faye’s last wishes.

The game sets the ball rolling for the sequel as well, God of War Ragnarok, which is slated to release sometime this year. After the success of the game on PlayStation, the PC port was released yesterday. There are a number of new features that are exclusive to the PC port, such as widescreen support, better graphical and visual fidelity, and much more.
God of War PC Fails To Break Horizon Zero Dawn First Day Record
With the launch of God of War on PC, all eyes were on the game because Sony’s last PC port wasn’t the best, to say the least. God of War‘s peak number of players stood at 49,411, as opposed to the 56,557 number of Horizon Zero Dawn. It did surpass Days Gone though, which had a peak of 27,450 on its launch day.
While Horizon Zero Dawn has a slightly higher figure and God of War failed to breach that mark, it should be noted that God of War has received way better reception as compared to Horizon Zero Dawn, as far as the performance is concerned. While both the game are just masterpieces in their own respect, Horizon Zero Dawn‘s PC port was marred with a myriad of issues. God of War, on the other hand, has significantly better performance, and we also didn’t face any issue during our playthrough. With the weekend approaching, this number might get higher, but for now, Aloy had the last laugh.
