Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Gets Wild In Summer Game Fest Trailer

Epic Games unveiled Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3, also known as Fortnite Wilds, during Summer Game Fest. The jungle-focused season, previously teased with a very short video on the game’s Twitter account, will begin on June 9.

In the trailer we see what looks like a ton of new features, including grinding on vines, new flowers that seem to act like bombs and stink bombs, and of course, Optimus Prime himself, who will be included in the battle pass.

For those following the lore, that’s Dr. Slone featured at the end, taking aim at our heroes. Slone was “killed” in the story way back in the Chapter 2 finale, but I certainly always felt sure she wasn’t really gone. Now, she’s back, likely as an on-island PvE boss for the new season. Fortnite downtime will begin tonight before Chapter 4 Season 3 kicks off tomorrow morning.
