Chandigarh, December 31

As we all look back at our ride through 2021, there is so much to be grateful. There has been learning and growth, and pain is a part of the process. As actress Rhea Chakroborty looks back at her journey in this year, she says it is full of healing and pain.

A poignant message she has for her fans and Instafam, which she shared with a beautiful picture of herself. Dressed in a rust coloured off-shoulder top paired with denims, she smiles to the camera.

Read her note here:

Rhea wrote, “You see me smiling and laughing, it’s not been easy to get here. A year full of healing, a year full of pain.” “But here I am, smiling and looking at you 2021-because indeed what doesn’t break you makes you stronger..! Have a wonderful New Year’s Eve with your loved ones, may 2022 be kind to all of us. Love and light #rhenew.”

In Sushant Singh Rajput’s death in 2020, Rhea was accused by the late actor’s father for abetting Sushant’s suicide. Rhea was constantly under the scanner. She was also accused for siphoning off funds from Sushant and was named in Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) chargesheet with her brother Showik in a drug-related probe into Sushant’s death case.
