Ekam Bawa is well-known for giving some groovy Punjab numbers like ‘Lalkare’, ‘Love You’ ‘Bugga Bugga’, ‘Gun Vs Boliyan’ and the singer is all prepared to make a debut in the Hindi music industry. This one he says will be, “A party number and you will be tempted to dance when it plays.”

Apart from this, he is ready with his next Punjabi song titled ‘Adab Jatt’ that has been shot in Mumbai, home for him since one year. This boy from Barnala is willing to take his chances and fears nothing. “Although leaving home is never easy and there is a lot I miss about Punjab but I feel when it comes to work, there is more struggle in the Punjabi industry as compared to Bollywood.”

Ekam explains where he finds the difference in the two industries. “Each and everyone is creating songs in Punjab whereas Bollywood has a certain system to it. There is a lot of professionalism here and I like how everyone follows a plan.”

A fan of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, the singer finds peace in listening to his qawwalis. “I may be making some peppy songs that make people dance but my personal favourite is Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sahab. His music calms my mind and inspires me to make good music.”

Ekam says there’s more to reveal but after Adab Jatt and the Hindi song that according to him will feature a popular actress.
