Did Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s Kesariya song ring a bell? If earlier fans were divided on the ‘love storiya’ part of the song, now twitterati says the song reminds them of Laaree Chhootee by Pakistani band Call in Abhay Deol-Neha Dhupia film Ek Chalis Ki Last Local . The song, which was released on Sunday, was received with much love and enthusiasm, but as soon as the netizens heard the entire track, they were disappointed by the use of love storiya, especially because the teaser of Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s love anthem generated a lot of hype.
A twitter user going by @Ctrlmemes noticed that the tune of Kesariya sounds a lot like Abhay Deol’s song. Others follow suit. This is what they think:
Wtf would they do that ????#KyaHuaJoLareeChhuti is an emotion yaar, please. Pura tune copy maar diya ????
Had expected #kesariya to be lot better but I knew that after the over hyped chorus that we saw in the teaser, the song would not really meet up the expectations https://t.co/NrB1nbrZrQ

Some users disagree. They say there is no similarity between the two song.
No, they’re not the same because each one is accented at different points. Melody lines could be similar because all music have the same notes to choose from. https://t.co/sbr0TEB1WO

Sung by Arijit, Kesariya is composed by Pritam and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Many Twitter users also tagged Pritam to get a clarification on the alleged “copy”. Fans have been waited with baited breath to watch the newly married Bollywood couple’s magnetic chemistry take over the big screen.
