If you’re a Diablo 4 fan and you’ve been struggling to level up the Season 1 Battle Pass, then this weekend’s Mother’s Blessing event is for you. The Mother’s Blessing in-game event rewards players with a 25% boost in XP and Gold for the duration of the weekend. The special booster event has a September 1 release date and a 6pm BST UK start time. You’ll earn increased gold and XP until the event ends just a few days later on the afternoon of September 5.
It’s even better news if you have any suitable Elixirs or the Urn of Experience, because the benefits will continue to stack.
Blizzard explains more: “For those curious where to attribute this newfound boon, look for the new in-game icon beside your potion count that signifies the increased rate of earning Gold and XP.
“Use this boost to carve through ranks of the Battle Pass, progress through the Season Journey, and climb to higher Levels and World Tiers with burning swiftness.
“Stoke the fire, gather round, and rally your most savvy of companions to slay demons with renewed fervour. The Blessed Mother’s cruelty is matched by her generosity, but not for long. Rise to new heights and earn more Gold for your bloodlust in the Mother’s Blessing Weekend!”
The in-game event launches just days after Blizzard revealed new details about Diablo 4 Season 2, which is titled ‘Season of Blood’.
The new season will add five new and returning endgame bosses, updates to renown rewards, updates to gem and stash storage, as well as updates to resistance and status effects.
Unveiled during gamescom Opening Night Live, Diablo 4 Season 2 has an October 17 release date on all platforms.
It replaces the current season – Season of Malignant – which adds multiple new enemies and bosses, as well as a boatload of exclusive rewards.
